XIV Conference Information

  • Identification lanyards must be worn and visible at all times. Lost or damaged lanyards will prompt a £15 replacement fee. Lanyards are required for admission to the event.

    Chaperones must bring a form of photo ID for security verification. It is recommended that attendees also bring a form of photo ID, should verification be necessary.

    All attendees must wait patiently outside before admission to the event due to security reasons. Attendees will only be admitted once their full party is present. No person(s) will be admitted without their registered chaperone present.

    Only registered person(s) will be admitted to the event. If there will be different chaperones for different days of the conference, these must be registered individually by the organization/school, and the individual fee must be paid. Should a previously registered chaperone be replaced without ample warning, they must pay any applicable fees, including the £15 lanyard fee.

    There are no facilities for bag or suitcase storage on-site. We will not admit anyone with a bag larger than a standard backpack, bookbag, or briefcase for security reasons. All personal belongings are subject to search.

    • Prescription medication not belonging to the attendee

    • Sharps, including scissors

    • Fireworks or pyrotechnics

    • Lighters or matches

    • Candles or incense

    • Flammable liquids

    • Glass bottles or glass containers

    • Large bags or suitcases

    • Sports equipment

    • Replica weapons or toy weapons

    • Costume weapons or props

    • Masks or face coverings intended to obscure identity

    • Animals, except registered assistance animals

    • Food and drink, except water

    • Speakers or amplified sound devices

    • Confetti, glitter, or powder-based items

    All items are subject to confiscation by security.
