Debate begins officially at 9:00 AM. Delegates arriving earlier than this (from 7:30 AM) can enjoy a complimentary spread of assorted breakfast foods, granola bars, & fresh juices.

HLIS is a vegetarian school, furthermore, due to allergy and houskeeping policies we ask that all guests refrain from bringing external food or drink into the building.

Our catering team is more than happy to cater to any dietary requests/requirements. Please ensure you have provided any and all dietary requirements at the point of your application. Teachers administering applications should ensure these are appropriately flagged when submitting information.
We cannot guarantee accommodations will be made for last-minute applications past the stated deadline or if dietary information has not been provided at the initial point of application.

Scheduling for HLISMUN is published on this website under the “Conference” tab in the weeks leading up to HLISMUN.
Research reports can be found under the “Councils” tab and will be posted with significant advancement to the conference, giving delegates ample time to read them and draft resolutions.
Delegates will be informed of their assigned countries/councils via their schools MUN club in the weeks leading up to HLISMUN, or via email.
Additionally, we will often share important information and last minute details/updates via Instagram. Make sure you’re following us!

Like many other similar MUN conferences, HLISMUN requires and enforces a formal dress code which includes footwear. Clothing must be appropriate and modest. Males must wear their jackets whilst speaking.
